Brief of Company Background
The origins of PT Kino Indonesia Tbk (Kino) began in 1991 through a company called PT Duta Lestari Sentratama (DLS). At that time, DLS focused on running a distribution business. Over time, DLS developed its business portfolio by establishing PT Kino Sentra Industrindo (KSI) in 1997. The initial product at that time was candy called "Kino Candy". Then, KSI continued to grow and eventually transformed into a company that produces snacks such as candy, snacks, and chocolate, as well as flavored drinks in powder form. Its products were very well received by consumers and were not only sold in the Indonesian market but also abroad.
With the right business strategy, the KINO group's business grew rapidly and encouraged the Company to expand its business line by establishing PT Kinocare Era Kosmetindo in 1999, a manufacturer of various body care products for all genders and ages. In 2014, PT Kinocare Era Kosmetindo changed its name to PT Kino Indonesia with the main product of 2 in 1 facial cleanser "Ovale", followed by hair vitamin product "Ellips", then later in the form of special soap for feminine area "Resik-V", and perfume in the form of gel "Eskulin".
To date, Kino Indonesia has a variety of products ranging from food, beverages, cosmetics, baby care, household, pharmaceuticals, to pet food with more than 30 brands spread across various countries around the world.
