Brief of Company Background
PT Champion Pacific Indonesia Tbk (CPI) is a company that was initially established under the name PT Igar Jaya in October 1975. Then, in October 1990 the Company officially became a public company by conducting an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of ordinary shares.
In 2004, the Company changed its name to PT Kageo Igar Jaya Tbk due to the merger between PT Kageo and PT Igar Jaya Tbk. Then, PT Kageo Igar Jaya Tbk officially changed its name to PT Champion Pacific Indonesia Tbk on October 6, 2010.
The Company carries out its main business activities in the Flexible Packaging manufacturing industry through its subsidiaries, not only for the Pharmaceutical segment but for the Food, Cosmetics, Agrochemical and other segments.
Continuous improvement is a manifestation of the Company’s commitment to maintaining excellent product and service quality. This commitment is reflected in the achievement of ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management System and ISO 15378 for Blister packaging which was achieved through its subsidiaries, namely PT Avesta Continental Pack and PT Indogravure.
The Company ensures that operational activities are carried out effectively and productively, including carrying out macro and micro-scale controls related to high quality machines and new production technologies. This caught the attention of Strategic Investor ZACROS Corporation. and Mitsui & Co.(Asia Pacific) Pte.Ltd., a multinational company to acquire shares of the Company in 2016. The experience of the two companies has become a new strength for us to further improve our Quality and Capacity.
