Jakarta - PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk supports the SOE Ministry's plan to consolidate fixed broadband services between Indihome and Icon+.

"We welcome this plan positively in order to expand Indihome services throughout Indonesia. Thus, we can be on par with other countries that already have high fixed broadband penetration," said Telkom Finance Director Heri Supriadi in PUBEX Live 2021 on Monday (6/9).

He continued, if the fixed broadband investment is carried out in a consolidated manner, it will have a broader impact on the people of Indonesia because the reach of customers obtained will be even greater.

Apart from Icon+, Telkom also welcomes the consolidation plan with a subsidiary of a state-owned company that intends to enter the fixed broadband business.
