KIJA Net Loss Shrinks 59% to Tp43.1 Billion


Jakarta - PT Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), until the first semester of 2022, managed to reduce the net loss attributable to owners by around 59.18% to Rp43.1 billion Rp105.6 billion in the same period the previous year.

"The main cause of this loss was the impact of exchange rate movements, with the company posted a higher foreign exchange loss of Rp168.8 billion (translational loss) compared to the previous Rp112.5 billion," said KIJA Corporate Secretary Muljadi Suganda in a written statement in Jakarta, Friday (9/2).

The company's revenue rose to Rp1.13 trillion from Rp1.11 trillion.

Regarding real estate sales (marketing sales), KIJA reached Rp847.7 billion, equivalent to 50% of the real estate sales target for the entire year of Rp1.7 trillion.

This year, the company's marketing sales target consists of Rp1.1 trillion from Cikarang and others and Rp600 billion from Kendal.
