OJK to File Appeal for Court Verdict on Bosowa

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) respects the decision of the State Administrative Court (PTUN) Panel of Judges considering PT Bosowa Corporindo's lawsuit against the OJK regarding the Decree of the Board of Commissioners (KDK) Number 64 / KDK.03 / 2020 with case number 178 / G / 2020 / PTUN.JKT.

"Regarding the decision, OJK will process the appeal," wrote OJK Deputy Commissioner for Public Relations and Logistics Anto Prabowo in an official statement on Tuesday (19/1).

OJK also said that Bank Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) operations would not be disrupted so that customers and the public could continue to carry out banking transactions and services as usual.

Bosowa is a shareholder of Bank Bukopin. On 15 September 2020, Bosowa filed a lawsuit with the relevant authorities regarding the process of strengthening BBKP's capital.

At the 2020 EGMS, Bosowa chose to leave the meeting because the Decree of the OJK Board of Commissioners No.64 / KDK.03 / 2020 concerning the Results of Revaluation of Bosowa Controlling Shareholder stated that this company had committed a violation. With this letter, Bosowa does not have voting rights in the EGMS.
