Jakarta - PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk, until the end of the first semester of 2021, posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp12.45 trillion or grew 13.30% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp10.98 trillion.

According to the financial report published on Tuesday (31/8), the increase in profit for the year was supported by an increase in revenue of around 3.92% to Rp69.48 trillion compared to the same period in 2020 of Rp66.85 trillion.

Operating profit also grew by around 6.12% to Rp23.61 trillion from Rp22.25 trillion.

The rise in foreign exchange gains of Rp79 billion from the previous loss of around Rp84 billion supported the increase in operating profit.

As of the first semester of 2021, the total assets of the Indonesian Stock Exchange issuer codenamed TLKM reached Rp263.97 trillion, with liabilities of Rp153.87 trillion and equity of Rp110.10 trillion.
