The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) today, on Wednesday (20/1), opened up 12.66 points or 0.2% at 6,334.51.

Among all stocks, 132 stocks were up, 226 stocks fell, and 141 stocks were stagnant. Market turnover was Rp1.94 trillion, from 1.79 billion shares traded. 

Meanwhile, the top gainers of the LQ45 index were PT Tower Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) that rose 2.45%. PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) increased 2.35%, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) up 2.1%.

While State-Owned Enterprises stocks were among the top losers in the LQ45 index, PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) plunged 5.71%, PT PP Tbk (PTPP) dropped 5.29%, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) slid 3.69%.
