JCI Ends Falling 0.77% to 6,253
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of trading today, on Tuesday (23/3), fell 48.41 points or 0.77% to 6,252.71.
Of all traded stocks, 151 stocks rose, 357 shares fell, and 128 stocks were unchanged. The total trading volume reached 19.57 billion shares with a total market turnover of Rp11.00 trillion.
Only one share sector index survived to enter the green zone, the plantation sector, which rose 1.43%.
Meanwhile, the other nine stock sector indices were in the red zone. The sectors with the deepest fall were the basic industrial sector which was down 1.90%, the construction sector declined 1.36%, and the infrastructure sector decreased 1%.
Meanwhile, the stocks among the LQ45 top gainers were PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) which rose 5.12%, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) increased 4.25%, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk ( ITMG) gained 1.61%.
The LQ45 top losers included PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA), which fell 6.00%, PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) declined 4.74%, PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) slipped 4.48%.
