Jakarta - PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BTPN) and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) disbursed green financing worth U$93.75 million or Rp1.46 trillion to PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).

The facility is part of a syndicated loan worth a total of $750 million, which the creditors and PLN jointly signed on Friday (23/12), with Bank BTPN and SMBC jointly acting as coordinating mandated lead arranger and book-runner, as well as green loan coordinator.

"We are committed to channeling sustainable financing for environmentally sound business activities as a form of support for government programs to achieve sustainable development," said Head of Wholesale and Commercial Banking of Bank BTPN Nathan Christianto in a written statement in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/28).
