ASII Unit to Acquire 49.56% Shares of Bank Jasa Jakarta


Jakarta - PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) entity, PT Sedaya Multi Investama (SMI), plans to take over 1.138 million new shares, representing 49.56% of the total issued and paid-up capital of PT Bank Jasa Jakarta (BJJ).

"The companies signed the share subscription agreement (SSA) on July 1, 2022," said ASII Corporate Secretary Gita Tiffani Boer in information disclosure on Monday (4/7).

According to Gita, the value of the new share takeover transaction is around Rp3.876 trillion.

"Completion of the proposed transaction is subject to the fulfillment of all preliminary requirements in the SSA, including the approval of the Financial Services Authority (OJK)," she explained.

After completing the planned transaction, SMI will later own 1.138 million shares of PT BJJ.
