ITDC Rangkul WIKA Buat Resort di Bali Utara

IMQ, Jakarta —  PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) atau Indonesia Tourism Development Company (ITDC) dan PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) menjalin sinergi untuk mengembangkan kawasan wisata di Bali Utara, dengan membangun resort.

Direktur Utama ITDC Abdulbar M Mansoer mengatakan, ITDC mendapatkan penugasan dari pemerintah provinsi Bali untuk mengembangkan Bali Utara karena kawasan wisata di Bali Utara minum dibandingkan Bali Selatan.

“Kita sudah dapat lahan 100 hektar dan akan berkembang sampai 300 hektar. Kami perlu partner yang bangun infrastrukturnya sehingga kami ajak WIKA. Kami ingin mengulangi sukses Nusa Dua,” ujar Abdulbar baru-baru ini.

Untuk menggarap lahan tersebut, ITDC dan WIKA akan membentuk perusahaan patungan. Pengusahaan lahan ini dilakukan oleh ITDC Nusantara Properti dan Wika Realty.

“Saat ini, status lahan sudah sertifikat hak milik. Pemandangannya sangat indah, bisa kelihatan gunung Ijen. Nanti kita bangun terminal cruse sehingga menarik trafik ke marina,” ujarnya.

Sementara, Direktur Keuangan WIKA Steve Kosasih menambahkan, lahan mulai digarap pada tahun ini, sehingga pekerjaan infrastruktur dapat dilakukan pada tahun depan.

“Butuh waktu sekitar 3-4 tahun, maksimal 5 tahun. Investasi masih kita hitung,” tutur Steve.

Rencananya, kedua BUMN tersebut akan membangun terminal kapal layar mewah agar ada pilihan akomodasi ke Bali Utara selain bandara. Menurut dia, Bali Selatan sudah penuh dengan hotel sehingga Bali Utara menjadi pilihan yang tepat.
