Established in 1975, PT. Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line Tbk, has grown to be a prominent shipping company in Indonesia that has a competitive edge in the transportation of breakbulk / coals, forest product, general cargoes, liquid cargoes, and in the ship management. Per the date of the Prospectus, the company operated 31 ships that property personally and 10 ships that was leased both short and long term. On June 22, 2005, PT Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line Tbk listed its shares at the Jakarta Stock Exchange. 500 million shares or 33.3 percent of the company¿s enlarged capital were offered through public offering. Each share bears a par value of Rp 500 with an offer price of Rp 625 per share.
The Company booked net profit worth IDR168.7 billion in 2005, rising from IDR77.2 billion in 2004. The company recorded revenue at IDR1.167 trillion in 2005, rising from IDR845 billion in 2004. |
