The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) opened up 32.7 points or 0.5% at  6,461.

There were 126 stocks up, 38 stocks fell and 82 stocks were stagnant. Trading transactions reached Rp107.05 billion from 131.93 million shares traded.

Among the big caps were top gainers, namely, PT Soho Global Health Tbk (SOHO) rose Rp1,175 or 19.4% to 7,225, PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) rose Rp485 or 24.6% to Rp2,460. and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) increased by Rp325 or 0.9% to Rp35,425.
